Leigh Scott B. Bus (Acct) CPA CIMA Managing Director
Leigh is the owner of the business and initially trained as an Accountant in Australia completing his Bachelor of Accounting from Central Queensland University in 2001. Having been an accountant ever since he has over 24 years experience in accounting related roles. Having worked in Australia, New Zealand, Spain and Mauritania the draw of family support for his young daughter saw them relocate to Elgin and start the practice in 2021.
Gemma Seacombe Management Accountant
Gemma has recently joined the Northgate Team as a Management Accountant after relocating from London to Elgin in 2023. Gemma has over 15 years in various senior accounting roles, with extensive knowledge in Management Accounts. Gemma has worked for SME’s, Not for Profit’s and, more recently, a Public Body, so is well versed with a depth of knowledge in assisting you with your company’s profitability. Gemma is a keen hiker and outdoors enthusiast, so is now living the dream exploring all that Scotland has to offer with her husband and their dog.
Jax Pollock Senior Accountant
Jax was the founder of JPS Bookkeeping & Accountancy Services which was in existence for 20yrs before merging with Northgate in 2023. Jax brings over 20yrs experience with her in her capacity as senior accountant offering invaluable insight into client history and needs. In her spare time Jax enjoys playing badminton and city breaks with her family.
Rebecca McFadden Accountant
Becky has a BA Honours in Accounting & Finance and has been working in the accounting industry for over 15 years. She has worked in a wide range of accounting practices, picking up a wealth of knowledge and experience. She specialises in annual accounts and tax, and is part qualified with the Association of Taxation Techniques. Outside of work, Becky enjoys quality family time with her 2 sons or exercising.
Joan Nelson Accounts Assistant
Joan is an Accounts Assistant based in our Paisley Office. She has had a career in Finance for over 30 years and loves working with the Northgate team! In her spare time she loves Northern Soul dancing listening to music and loves reading!
Chloe McGill Accountant
Chloe is based in our Paisley office. She has a First Class Honours degree in accounting, and is currently studying towards ACCA which will make her a Chartered Accountant in the very near future. Chloe has years of experience in the world of accounting, and is excited about what the future holds for her professionally. In her spare time, Chloe enjoys going to the gym, reading and walking.
Megan Brooks Chartered Accountant
Megan is based at our Paisley office and holds a First Class Honours degree in Accounting. She obtained her ACCA qualification in November 2024, which now makes her a Chartered Accountant. With several years of experience in the accounting field, Megan is eager about the opportunities ahead in her career. Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading, going to the gym, and spending time with friends & family.
